I'm a second year graduate student. I am currently $25,000 plus in student loan debt. As I go into my second and final year of graduate school the debt will increase sadly. By the time I graduate which is scheduled for May 2017 I'll be anywhere between $45,000 and $50,000 in student loan debt. My university's tuition is being increased by 4.1% roughly $423 extra per year. That's a two week paycheck for many working students. It's an increase we already cannot afford. Something has got to give!
