With this Toasted S'more Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream, you can enjoy the delicious flavors of a classic campfire treat. The base of this rich frozen dessert is made of cream cheese. Chocolate fudge swirls, gooey mini marshmallows, and crunchy graham crackers all mix together.
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 4 large egg yolks. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chocolate fudge sauce. 1 cup mini marshmallows. 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers. 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips.
Instructions: In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat until it begins to steam, stirring occasionally. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks until smooth. Slowly pour a small amount of the hot cream mixture into the egg yolks, whisking constantly to temper them. Pour the tempered egg mixture back into the saucepan with the remaining cream mixture, stirring constantly. Continue cooking over medium heat until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let cool completely. Once cooled, churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions. During the last few minutes of churning, add in the chocolate fudge sauce, mini marshmallows, crushed graham crackers, and semisweet chocolate chips. Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
