Wisteria - a spectrum of perspective
You know that feeling when you don’t understand the... size of a fandom? And it can go both ways there.
Like, there is this huge thing that is aaall over the internet and then you try it because, huh, must be interesting. But it turns out to just be “meh, fine”, for you. It’s not even that it’s bad, it just feels so underwhelmingly mediocre that you can’t fathom where all the hype comes from.
And then there are shows that you try and think “Woah, how does this not blow up more? It has all the things fangirls love. This should be huge. Why isn’t it huge?”.
It feels weird. In both cases. òô°°°
And yeah, this is mainly just about both The Shannara Chronicles and The 100 now all of a sudden/soon airing in Germany again. Though it also applies to... a lot of other fandoms.
