My latest sketch in my Star Wars art. He was the first superhero I was introduced to and till date remains my favourite. The original Star wars movies are the best in my opinion and have aged quite well and remains my all time favourite movie series. This one took me quite a while to complete, having failed at an earlier drawing. Failures are a part of life. What do you guys and gals think about this artwork?? All criticisms are welcome.

Another one of my Star Wars series sketches. This one is dedicated to the female lead of the new sequel series: Rey. Daisey Ridley does a fine job to bring this character to life. Really loved the character even if I hated the last movie so much.

Bayek
The protagonist from Assassins Creed Origins. After Ezio’s storyline, his was the most relatable and enjoyable. The best game in the series so far according to me, even surpassing its successor AC Odyssey.
I do these detailed character sketches from time to time and I frankly find them to be much easier than portraits (somehow!!!).

Kylo Ren My first entry in the the Star Wars art series. I am a huge fan of Adam Driver as Kylo Ren. Many of you might not know him, but he is the new big baddie of the new Star Wars movies. Unlike other villains he potrays his character with a deep conflict between good and evil and it is absolutely amazing to see him redeemed in Star Wars Rise of Skywalker (although the movie was terrible). An amazing character driven antagonist. He is also a wonderful actor. Also loved him in Lucky Logan. This portrait was my biggest one till date and with full background. I need to work more on getting my backgrounds correct. With this sketch I realised that my shading has improved quite a bit. Still need to practise shading hair..that one is tricky. As for skin shading I think I have the formula pinned down and just need to refine it further. I am not going for that hyperrealistic look (yet)...keeping it just realistic. What do you guys think about that? . . . Materials used: HB, 4B, 6B, 8B and MP on textured A3 Brustro paper. Blending stumps, dry brush and cotton for blending.
Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. In anticipation of her new movie I made a sketch of her. Really liked the first Wonder Woman movie and her role in Justice league and Dawn of Justice.
I spent a long time working on her hair. It was the first time for me drawing so complicated hair...going this way and that. All in all it was a fun exercise and I learnt a lot about drawing hair.
