Grave Intentions. {IAOpen}
Admittedly, she was rather excited about the new cemetery the school had access to. She could have said something about it being due to her not sleeping and therefore getting a new area to explore, which, was part of the reasoning behind it. But really, she just enjoyed being near death. It somehow put her at peace with herself, what with being part of the living dead.
One of the things she had been looking forward to was the chance to go coffin shopping in the cemetery’s funeral parlour. She hadn’t gotten to do so in the human realm, mainly due to it being thought of as off to climb into a coffin to test out its own comforts. But here, she could do whatever she wanted to without being looked at oddly for it. Afterall, a coffin was a second home to a vampire. Not that she had any intentions of sleeping in it. She just wanted something a little fancier to place in her room. If nothing else, it would make a good dog bed.
She had been wandering through the cemetery, taking her time to enjoy the brisk chill of the winter air, glancing between one tombstone to another, reading the names of those that were now buried beneath her feet. Hands coming in contact with an icy slab of marble, then deciding she would plant herself down on one of the shorter slabs and just take in the surroundings. She could see why people found such places creepy. There definitely something about being surrounded by death that could turn one off the place.
