ok, sooo, with the common(? from what i've seen at least) ppl head cannon ford dated bill, and dated fiddleford, why do so many make ford ok with cheating??? billford and fiddleauthor? fords a cheater, and either way, both ships or just fiddleauthor, then fiddleford is cheating on his wife with ford and ford knows he's married, sooo, why he ok with this in so many head cannons and ships?

nothing against the ships and stuff, i so follow the 'ford dated bill and fids, fids and ford broke up, then ford and bill broke up' and maybe sometimes the addition of 'then fids dated stan (at first thinking it was ford) and then stan erased his memory of their relationship when upset about fids addiction the the memory gun'

BUT WHY WE MAKING HIM A CHEATER/HOMEWRECKER Y'ALL???

edit: im not trying to be rude or anything btw, i just made this half asleep and wondering why its so common, ppl raised fair points and i headcannon this stuff myself so, i cant bad mouth something i also add to the head cannon lore

Weird Gravity Falls questions number ?:

We canonically know that when Bill possesses someone, a yellow flicker can be seen in the eyes if looked carefully. With current technology, some of the new phones and tablets has face lock. Would those recognize the difference?

Now imagine a furious Bill trying to open the possessed one's phone only to fail again and again.

I have a question for the Gravity Falls community...

How was Stan able to get his memories back without the threat of Bill coming back?

Like, he was destroyed along with Stan's memories. So, if Stan got his memories back, would that mean Bill might not be totally gone? Like some part of him lives inside of Stan looking for a way out?

One of the things that I kept on thinking about in Gravity Falls is the vending machine.

How did it came to be? Did Ford had a vending machine before? Why would he keep a vending machine as a door then? You need money to use a vending machine and this is home. There is no point in keeping a vending machine.

Now re-watching a tale of two stans, we see this:

The door on the left is probably what leads to the basement considering this is the gift shop (right?). There is NO vending machine. Now the question is, who put it there? It has to be someone who is great at engineering.

Fiddleford? Maybe. But how did Stan convinced him to build it then?

Stan probably has no idea about the society of the Blind Eye so he can't just ask a person to build him a secret vending machine door that responds to the code of the door and then erase their memory.

So I'm thinking three things here:

During the shack's construction, he was able to fool (bribe) the workers in to doing what they're told without question

He really did re-wired everything by himself based the books he (forced himself to) read or;

He did it accidentally by doing random re-wiring by himself and by a stroke of luck, it worked.

1 is most likely what happened but 3 can be acknowledged. If it's 2, then it really proves that Stan is smart without him knowing.

Maybe this idea has been answered by Hirsch already and I just didn't know. Feel free to explain it to me and I'll delete this post.

Why the heck is a pine tree in the bill cipher zodiac instead of the Big Dipper? Like I understand the pine tree is on his hat and it’s what bill calls him but still shouldn’t his birthmark be more important or smth?

Gravity Falls question

So for people who know wayyyy more than I do about Gravity Falls (I'm a baby, please educate me), do we know anything about Dipper and Mabel's parents?

Like I have burgeoning ideas for a fic but I want it to be as canon compliant as it can be. So what do we know about their parents? I know there's something about Dipper having a nightmare about their parents fighting, but do we know anything beyond that? Like their occupations, their relationship, their quality of their relationship with the twins? With Grunkle Stan?

I would appreciate any canon insight! Thanks
