I got suggested a review from a freind for the Backrooms film - we both watched it the film, however I watched the original series and they did not. They also come from a very conservative family (don't hate she's learning)

I've learned 1) conservatives really will apply all their beliefs on anything popular no matter how different its messaging is.

2) they don't google anything about writers, directors or anything

3) the lack of media literacy scares me - two freinds where so confused by a film that yes, was confusing but not THAT confusing - the relationships of the people on screen and the trauma was pretty clear.

4) they really let other people tell them how to feel about films.

it was like watching someone make a review of the backrooms version of the backrooms movie itself. really odd - and they keep applying this weird purposfulness to the backrooms itself that doesn't work.

This review is like he's scared to fly to close to the sun - everytime he gains air or might get the semblance (did I spell that right? idk) to the correct answer he nose dives and defaults to random philosophy.

People, while the characters absolutely adds to the main story of the backrooms, they are not in fact, the backrooms itself. You could place many, many diffrent characters in that film and still have the exact same setting, but kane wanted characters who would help explain the horror.

rephrase - why are there themes? do I need to draw people characters into those themes? Can I only attack those on the other teams? is there no freindly fire?? is there rules for how 'complete' the drawing is??? every video I find on it is like 30mins and oberly explains it lmao

For the random guy who passes my place with a subwoofer made by Zeus himself - know that I hate you.

This relationship started with simple things - you shaking my windows, a mild thump my freinds could hear on calls - maybe the occasional good song.

But now? Now you pass my place of dwelling at 3 am, most nights, setting off car alarms in your wake. The greed for such powerful songs and motion, cause you to play it loudly in gas stations and near places of rest.

Know that your days are numbered - your hearing will leave you. You will be unable to hear the joyous laughter of your children, your grandchildren. and as you sit there, wondering what you did wrong, I will be outside your home, disconnecting your subwofer from your car. And you won't know - you can't hear the alarm.

my dad requested this for fathers day??? He always asks for religious stuff so this came outta nowwhere. dude wanted the thing practically throwing up sparkles but I drew the line there.

Anyway did my best to sparkle dog the shit outta this. She was the lesbian flag at some point - on accident. Totally accidental. Lesbians where not on my mind whatsoever...

I'm never one to scoff at any new animated series, but does anyone else find the new rotoscoping nearly unwatchable? It's not even rotoscoping iver real people, it's animated cg characters. Either embrace the cg (pls don't actually I'm sick of it), or go full 2D animation. (I'm talkin character animation in specific)

What's your take on these new CG rotoscoped cartoons?

Correction - X-men '97 is mostly hand drawn, with 3D coming into play for complex scenes. I still hate it, but at the same time thats still genuine effort and I'm bein a lil nit picky.
