Has The Gray Horde or Gray Monitor ever attempted to use and/or manipulate the Solver in any way?
They have considered using it in the past but after seeing just how truly unstable it is and what they've seen in the labs, Gray Monitor fully decided to just not deal with it because it's just too messy for it to be even remotely worth all the trouble.

Who is Strix and how dangerous is she?
She's basically a dark and corrupt version of Eda that I created for Luz's personal journey and Lilith's redemption to be more perilous and treacherous.
Later, after Eda is freed, Gray Monitor essentially created a clone of her for the malicious spirit of Strix to possess and she's become stronger over time (thanks to both Disassembly Drone cybernetics and magic artifact absorption) with Eda herself becoming craftier and cunning to outwit Strix.
