So here’s a special post for all the gray-as out there. You are wonderful and awesome! It’s so cool that you found a word for yourselves, and if you ever feel that you’re “not ace/aro enough” or you’re being “too specific,” I am here to tell you that you belong!! And there’s no such thing as too specific or too broad when it comes to your orientation, the only thing that matters is what labels make sense to you!!
Grey aces and grey aros deserve their place in the A-spec community as much as anyone.
Your experiences and your identity are 100% valid!
Shout out to the grey a-specs who have to spell it four different ways just to find what they’re looking for. I am so sorry, you deserve so much better.
If you’ve experienced attraction, but not enough to determine any kind of gendered pattern, it is perfectly acceptable to use an a-spec identity as your full orientation.
Sometimes, “too few people to say which” is a perfectly valid answer to “who are you attracted to?”
