Kirby is a free-spirited cheerful guy who is always the first one to stand up for his friends! I imagine once he and Mochi get older, they embark on their own quests outside of Popstar once and a while!

Absolutely! Bee's got plenty of photos from her days in the circuit, not to mention a million-and-one stories to go with them. She went by many names over the years - Firebird, Beebee Big Hit, even The Meteor - but Madame Caldera is the one that rocketed her to stardom.
The kids love to hear her tales just as much as she enjoys telling them. Dedede's heard most of them at least twice by now (but certainly wouldn't mind hearing them all again).

It's a major part of her personality by the time she reaches her teenage years. By then she was comitted to eating as much as she could to grow into the bug she was always meant to be. She considers herself a guardian of nature with her mastery of the leaf ability, living almost like a regular katydid. Needless to say, becoming a bug was something she actively worked towards rather than something that happened to her passively!

thanks! tbh my partner just handed me a steak knife and let me go, I smoothed it out some by just kinda like, jamming a finger in there to mush down any particularly jagged parts. it was a small pumpkin which probably helped.

Well, now that response got me thinking, Mama Lakota AU...do the kids get their new names at any point? Does M!Lakota get sick of the name problem the way canon Lakota does and just...renames 'em? Jericho in particular seems to have a lot of very specific meaning behind it as a name. Seems very specific to ah, well, Jericho.
I feel like she'd give them names immediately after taking them in, so there wouldn't be a name issue, and their names wouldn't be the same in that AU because of the different circumstances.
Yo, I dunno if you've been asked this before, but is your spider-dood friends with any other characters? What do they think of the s p i d e r p e o p l e ? :3
I haven't really considered it before! I'd like to think he's friends with other characters, definitely. August is pretty positive and sociable, so he isn’t afraid to put himself out there. I don't have a fleshed out world for my anthro people, but I think spiders and other arthropods are fairly uncommon or tend to keep to their own, so some animals don't know what to make of them.
It’s an interesting question! I’ll definitely have to think about it more.
