Again that’s a fairly good point considering I’ve seen writers justify or sweep away a lot of shit other characters. In RWBY there’s a whole genre of making Raven look like a good parent, and using DC people tend to forgot or brush off Poison Ivy r*ped a guy ~ Green

In case you haven't noticed today, I'm extremely salty.

I usually try to keep my own personal stuff off this blog because I see people weaponize their past and identities far too often on this site. I'm usually content for everyone to think I'm a Green Hag that lives in a walking house who has a degree in East Asian studies.

But I want antis to know something. I am more than a Hag. I work with a scanlation group that puts out original works and doujin alike. Yes, a gross fujoshi like me working on those titles is literally the only way you will ever see them translated. And having working and volunteered with several groups I can tell you that I am not an outlier.

Also, every Sunday I DM in my campaign that is nearly two years old. I play a queer, male NPC that is in a polyamorous relationship with two men, I play a queer man that is in a relationship with a woman, I play trans men, lesbian women, good people and evil pedophiles. I've written and roleplayed terrible things happening to the PCs for the past two years. I've thrown sexual slavery, trauma, rape, incest, body mutilation, murder, violence, kidnapping, ect ect at my players. My players love the dark world I've created. Quote: "They roll around it like pigs in mud." I'll continue to do so until it stops being fun for them.

I hope that antis see this and know that there's not. A. Single. Fucking. Thing. they can do to stop me from doing this EVERY Sunday. They can stamp their feet and bang their hands like petulant children, but they can't do anything to stop me and my friends from enjoying our fantasy world. Nor can they stop me from working on scanlation to consistently put out content they like to consume.

That's what I want everyone to remember: in the real world, antis views and voices mean NOTHING. The most they can do to the individual is be a source of annoyance. Don't let their online voices mean more than they do. You keep doing you and enjoy your online and fandom experience.

This is a green grumbles btw so if you don’t wanna see the drama this blog is going through just blacklist green grumbles.

Look I’m tired of this chick. I’ve repeatedly explained my reasons to her, on multiple times. I’ve tried to be civil, but all she does is brush aside any point I bring up, to basically make it look like I’m ignoring her issues. I’m tired of this, I almost had a panic attack because frankly this whole situation made me remember certain events from my past that I hoped to keep buried, and dead.

The kicker is she wants to have a civil discussion, but anytime I bring up anything it’s brushed off to restate her points without taking in the opposing reasons given, and I’ve tried to message her privately so the drama wouldn’t follow, but apparently she doesn’t follow us so no messaging possible. Which is kinda sad that she actively goes out of her way to check this blog often for ammunition

Like I don’t even have panic attacks regularly, but I didn’t like this sensation so fine. @graussux you happy I had to relive something that hurt me, and continues to hurt me. All because you couldn’t open a simple dialogue no you had to keep poking, and prodding in a self righteous crusade, because people on the internet or just having fun. No can’t have that, no one can shitpost, or just make a couple jokes because they have a hard day offline.

She also doesn’t like we do any post sent to us that involves Jaune, or one that we ‘force Jaune into’ because that’s just the idea we had. The reason we get so many requests for Jaune is because we at least give every character some shine on this blog. Hell we’d even take Cinder positive asks, because we try not to judge here.

There is an old saying, "Two wrongs don't make a right."

What examples are you thinking of when you say that? I am geniuely asking. I know from the cultures I've studied how words can be borrowed from language to language, but that is not appropriation (I'm thinking specifically of wasei-eigo terms in Japanese), so I really do want to know what you mean so that I can learn something new.

I stand by that no one should appropriate language, terms or symbols from another culture, but if we are going to scale who has been doing it worse, I'd say the Nazis repurposing the swastika from Buddhism and Hinduism has that handidly won.

I was looking through that Shaladin Discourse Survey going around and got to the question that said something like, "What is you favored ship?" And over 80% said Klance. Couldn't stop myself from rolling my eye and going "Urgh."

The next time I see some tumblr tween try and insist there's "billions of studies" that say fiction effects reality, I expect links to properly sourced, peer reviewed, scientifically backed data, not some link to a new article.
