Poblano peppers, lime, garlic, onion and jalapeños
Homemade Salsa Verde! 😋
Cilantro Lime Dressing
Green tomatillo salsa recipe
Makes 6 cups
12 Tomatillos
4 Avocados
3 Serrano Chilis
1/4 Cup chopped cilantro
2 Cups sour cream (Mexican style preferred)
Juice of 1 lime
1 Clove of garlic
Salt to taste
Clean and wash veggies and herbs. PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO PUT ON GLOVES WHEN HANDLING THE CHILLIS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Slice the Tomatillos and Serrano Chili's in half, removing seeds from peppers. Broil them on high until you start to notice a slight char. Remove them from oven and place in pot with enough water to cover. Cook until fork tender. Drain veggies and add them the blender with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth.
I like to top with a squeeze more of lime and sprinkle of salt.
