Happy 5 years to my first full length album (that I crowdfunded thanks to so many of you) 💚💚 - to be honest, it feels like a lifetime ago.
In oh so many ways, I had no idea what I was doing in terms of releasing and marketing it (and, moreover, in terms of, like, life) back then, but I’m still proud of this collection of songs about being young and in love (recorded at the gorgeous @missionsoundnyc).
This album definitely marks a moment in time in my musical and emotional maturation, and I can see just how much i was trying to figure out things back then.
I’m grateful for having figured out some of them, and accepted that maybe some of them aren’t meant to be figured out, but rather, simply experienced.
I’m also grateful to the woman who was trying so hard, and continues to try, to make sense of her world.
Here’s to trying, here’s to growth, and here’s to all you green hearts out there. 🥂
