GreenOak 1.21! Updated

This just in! GreenOak has officially updated to 1.21! And not just that we've also updated our server into a 2.0 State!

The map is the same as before, but we have polished a lot of our features and made sure things would be far better this time! We are even working towards making the custom music discs better! (Though those are a work in progress!)

We now have a custom world just for player built minigames and rides! Here you can make as many games or rides you want!

We also have a shopping district where you can build up to three different shops! using a brand new shop plugin! (There is a tutorial provided in the server info tab!)

Along with shops and a gaming district we have an amazing Event world! With building events and minigames such as spleef and trivia!

Now that we have covered all the exciting worlds we have, now to go over some new features!

Added the ability to climb chains

Killer bunnies now spawn randomly

Creepers have a chance to spawn in the Nether

You can now check how many bees are in a hive

Shulkers Respawn

You can Silk Touch Amethyst clusters now

Shulkermites if a endermite is left on a purpur block for long enough it will enter the block turning it into a shulker

Bats have a random chance of biting you one time

You can now mix stones for tools

You can now drop dirt into a couldron to make mud

Husks drop sand

More effective tools (i.e things that should break faster with a specific tool but didn't now does)

Glass always drops when broken

Thunderstorm you can start thunderstorms when you throw a channeling trident at build height upwards (Consumes 150 or 60% Durability)

Events Eventually!

We are cooking up a whole lot of fun events on the Green Oak server!

Firstly a new mini game that will randomly take place at the Tick Spleef Tock Tower

This Event will be done randomly, as a fun little minigame! (Prizes to be decided still!)

Next we have the next big community project for July ready!

If you are familiar with R/place this event is basically that! This space is 128x128 (Big enough for the smallest map), you will have a flat 1 layer to build!

Lastly thanks to @chiseled-bookshelf @dinowizards @covicyep , berserkersfury (On twitch) and OfficallyBoxed_live (on twitch) for all their help with making these buildings possible! :D

Pride train?!

Yes! you heard me right! On June 1st through to June 30th we will be having one of our first major community events on Green Oak! Where you can build you're very own train car! Representing all that makes Pride so important (Community and Love)

Why post this so soon? Well so every player can plan and prepare whatever they want or need to make an awesome Train car!

For a Little more info about this Community Event:

This Event was inspired by the amazing RTGame!

You can build on top of the Train platforms!

- Each Train Car is 7X19,

The Theme is of course Anything Pride related!

Only thing you won't be able to change is the train platform!

Currently there are 15 Train platforms, but if we run out we can make more! Just open up a help ticket on the discord! :D Lastly there will be a few very special custom features coming to the Server!~ that will be revealed on June 1st!~

GreenOak Progress update!!

So it has been a while since I've worked on this server; there was a mix of burnout and feeling stuck in a ditch creatively! But for the past few months, I along with my friends have been slowly working away at setting up a new server!

We have been setting up a new roleplay type of server! Where you can accept quests from NPCs, buy and rent properties, and get fun props to help create fun, interactive stories! (This'll be like a mixup of roleplay/economy.) This post is simply the first of many progress updates!

This is the spawn! The big white building is the info center! Where you'll be able to learn about features on the server such as how to buy/sell properties, how to listen to custom audio on the server, how to get resources, etc.!) The yellow building is a staff building.

The last two are a donation center (red building) where you can donate items you don't want anymore and take whatever you need/want! And the blue building houses our vote crate along with the villager shop eggs! (which is how you'll be able to sell items!)

Next up is our shopping district! Here you'll be able to buy/rent a shop to sell whatever you wish! There are also a few NPCs dotted around the area for you to interact with; some will give you quests and others will sell you stuff!

Next up is our first resource area! Here you'll be able to buy a cabin but also collect oak and birch! There will be other lumberyards where you can collect other types of wood! This is to make each town feel like it has a specific industry and feel more alive!

Lastly, in the woods or hidden in mountains, you can find goblins to fight! ~ There are four different goblin mobs here; you can see the first two! a Goblin Archer and a Goblin Assassin, there will be more custom mobs dotted around the world for you to interact with; some will be hostile, some peaceful, and some you'll be able to tame!

But that is all for now! There will be another progress update soon! To show off more of the custom features on the server such as the audio, weapons and plants!
