I genuinely didn't think the most calm and collected team to bring to Adamant would be Dorian, Varric and Blackwall lol

They're all just kinda chilling in the Fade and casually commenting if there's some creepy shit going on but none of them are panicking nearly as Cole, Sera and the Bull LMFAO

When I draw Dorian by himself or next to other humans/elven folk you can see very clearly how much I beefcake him (AS EVERYONE SHOULD) but then if it's Adoribull or Pavash art he looks almost petit in comparison and it makes me so nervous when it's just him and his boyfriend in the drawing omg

I don't usually care about what impression my art will give people but for this situation specifically I get SO SCARED people will see it and think I'm with the twinkfying crowd when I'm the strongest advocate AGAINST IT-

It really ain't my fault his taste in men is impeccable and he can end up with some huge guys, I swear I'm not twinkfying him 😭😭

The difference is WILD!!!!! And I swear I'm not exaggerating on the proportions, the amount of time I take to finish group drawings (a huge amount) is spent mostly on getting them right. His boyfriends really are just THAT huge 🥹

My lovely new Cadash being glued to Varric's side like his life depends on it is part of his lore so I'm bringing him (Varric) to every main quest and it's wild how many cool lines and scenes we can get with him there I love him so much 😭😭

Lore dump of my most recent oc that I made absolutely as a comfort character bc DAO had me questioning my already questionable gaming abilities to the point it was making me SAD so yeah now my og Cadash has an apprentice!! Meet 💖Gregor Cadash💖

He's a weapon & shield warrior I intend to make into a Templar solely bc I know Dorian has a lil comment on it and I'll set up this hot piece of dwarven ass with him, I'm already dreaming of all the ship art I'll obsessively make 😌🌈

Oh how I missed playing a dwarf, all the armours look so much better on them and their body proportions are to die for!! Gender envy doesn't even begin to describe what I feel for them 🥺

Look at him here with his pal Varric!! They got along right away bc Gregor is also the type to make jokes in inappropriate times and he's got no problem with doing business in the Underworld 😌✨

Onto the lore dump itself ~

Gregor is a recently surfaced dwarf, he only got out of Orzammar for good 7 years before the Conclave;

He joined the Carta a couple years before Samir - my og Cadash, y'all can check his post to see more details lol - took over the leadership of House Cadash;

They met in Orzammar when Samir was there to settle some smuggling jobs and he ran into Gregor caught up in a very heated bar fight that ended with a deshyr's son losing an eye and two fingers lol

Gregor was obviously very fucked after that bc he was only from a minor smith House and he just beat the shit out of a deshyr's son in a crowded bar;

The fight only started bc the guy got too handsy with the waitress and she was friends with Gregor so he chose violence immediately lol

When the guards arrived, Samir joined the fight just for the love of the game and in the aftermath Gregor asked if he could join their group just so he could get the fuck out of Orzammar before they tried to send him to the fucking Deep Roads or something;

Samir then offered him a job as hired muscle and trained him for a couple years;

Gregor proved himself as a skilled warrior and a reliable companion during that time so he rose ranks pretty fast in the Carta, that's why he was sent to the Conclave as their representative;

It took him a while to get used to the surface, to this day he's still a bit wary of humans and he was genuinely terrified of Leliana when they first met;

He's fine with elves and Qunari though, bc as a mercenary he has worked together with them many times;

In Orzammar he used to craft runes and manufacture lyrium for the Circles so he's quite interested in magic and he bonded with Dagna over it when she arrived;

He was only 21 years old when he joined the Carta so he's 28 in the current setting;

He's not sure about his sexuality bc he was very quiet in his teens and as an adult every affair was fleeting and not particularly meaningful so he doesn't even have a preference on gender or anything;

But he's damn sure Dorian is the most beautiful being he ever laid his eyes on and he's been low-key obsessed ever since they first met in Haven;

In the first few days of the Inquisition he followed Varric like a shadow bc he was pretty much the only other dwarf there he could rely on since the other Carta dudes had beef with him bc he was from the strongest clan and miraculously in a position of power lol

Later on he got very close to Sera bc she reminded him of his best friend from Orzammar with her foul mouth and all the pranks;

He's not sure how to deal with Cole bc the lil guy is really intense about his feelings and he's clearly his biggest fan ever since Therinfal already lol

He tries to sneak into Orzammar from time to time to visit his mama bc he's an only child and she worries a lot about him;

His dad died in a Deep Roads expedition he was hired to accompany as the group's smith so it was just Gregor and his mama since he was 12 years old;

His mom is skilled and respected enough to have a regular shop in Orzammar so luckily she doesn't struggle to sustain herself but Gregor does his best for her anyway;

He remembers when the Grey Wardens were mingling around Orzammar so he was quite delighted to meet Blackwall (little does he know lol);

He has a family recipe for an ale to die for but he only talks about it when he's already drunk so not many people know about it;

He reads a lot but he has to bring the books to his quarters or to the gardens to focus bc with Dorian around he could only think about him so the library was out of question lol

Aaaaand I'll stop for now, the "list" will definitely grow as I advance with the plot and the relationships he ends up developing so y'all will see me yapping again eventually lol Here look at him again, he's so gorgeous

To become a Templar my new Cadash didn't need to fight a bunch of buffed demons in the Hinterlands like my lady Trevelyan did and at first I thought it was because he's a dwarf and that "test" was the Templar equivalent of the Harrowing or something and the Chantry's racist ass must think dwarves can't get possessed (according to Solas they can but I didn't read enough on it to be sure) so he didn't have to go through it. The Templar lore was suddenly very cool for a full minute, until I read about the quest in the wiki and found out the buffed demons only need to be defeated for the Broken Philters and I already had a bunch of these bc I looted them from the red templars in Therinfal so the lack of demons was simply a coincidence caused by the route🧍🏽
