Strange Feelings
(Part 3 of Summer Vacation)
It was too weeks into Summer, you were happy to have things back to normal with Anthony and now you could stop pretending to have nothing be wrong.
It was afternoon, you were in the tea room along with the rest of the family as Gregory and Hyacinth told you a story. Well after the story Daphne and Hyacinth started dancing, playing ball as Gregory came up to you like a sweet little gentleman he was. Asked for your hand and started dancing with you, everyone laughed as Gregory tried to do the perfect dance.
Y/n: Gregory I have a better idea. You said, as he took both his hand in yours. You started moving to the left, then to the right as you gave slight jumps in the dance.
Everyone started clapping on time, and while dancing you couldn't help but see Anthony cheering for you and Gregory. After the dance Gregory bowed and ran to his mother, brothers and sisters as they all cheered in adoration for him.
You watched as they all listened to how he enjoyed it, every moment making you smile when you felt a strong presence behind you.
Anthony: He truly does love you, doesn't he? Antony whispered behind you. Gregory and Hyacinth, can't get enough of you since you arrived for the summer...that's why they can't leave you alone for a second.
Y/n: I do love them, and I do love spending time with them more then they could ever know. You spoke, as you turned to face him.
Anthony: I too, would love to spend sometime with you. He replied, as he looked into your e/c eyes. With his beautiful and mesmerizing brown eyes.
Y/n: I would want nothing more. Unfortunately, I promised Benedict that I would go on a walk with him...sorry.
Anthony: Don't be y/n, maybe some other time. He said, as he gave you a nod as Hyacinth grabbed his hand.
Hyacinth: Brother would you please have some tea with me? And after tea, I would love to dance with you.
Anthony: Of course Hyacinth. He spoke, as he let her lead him to the table her hand clutching tightly to his.
You watched him as he sat down by her play tea table, just fitting into the chair as he drank the "tea" she served him in the cup. His pinky pointed into the air, as he pretended to drink it.
You knew the feelings you had for Anthony never left, but you could never pretend to leave them aside. Realization going through your mind, as you thought about the moment you both kissed and had that strange thing last summer. You remembered how hurt you were, the hurt he caused and that wasn't what you wanted again.
You would rather be friends with Anthony, then telling him your true feelings. All you needed to do was pretend those strange feelings weren't there at all.

✨I really enjoyed this Book in the Bridgerton Series as we barely know Gregory and finally get to know him while he chases the wrong girl with the right one helping him. At times it felt a little too slow and at others a little too fast paced. The big conflict and solution of it at the end was, in my opinion, ended a little too fast and the reader was then given the (happy) epilogue.
✨ Even though I liked this book I would say that if the Netflix Show would go on until it is Gregory’s or even Hyacinth’s turn to be the lead, I would not be as excited to see it out on my TV screen as I am with other storylines (*cough* Colin and Penelope & Benedict and Sophie *cough*)

#gregorybridgerton #osbridgertonsnanetflix #osbridgertons #bridgertons #acaminhodoaltar #juliaquinn #resenha #resenhasliterárias #booktipsandmore📖 #bookgram #instabook #instagramliterario #book #livros #libros #estantedelivros #estante #amoler (em London, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMK2EGVjoM7/?igshid=1n8vlig5jihqg
Ele acreditava no amor.
A caminho do altar
Tolos, a maioria deles. O amor existia. Estava bem ali, no ar, no vento, na água. Só era preciso esperá-lo. Cuidar dele. Lutar por ele.
A caminho do altar
E ele sabia. Ele a amava.
