Prompt 4 - Old

James stared at his reflection, running his fingers through his hair, revealing a collection of grey hairs. The funny thing is he didn’t feel old. He still felt like a teenager, but Harry was nearly a teenager now, so he couldn’t possibly be, right?

He quickly totted up his age and groaned he was old. He ran his hands through his hair again, looking at the greys.

Regulus came up behind him, wrapping his arms around him and watched him in the mirror.

“What you doing, love?” He asked, watching James’s reflection.

“Am I old?” James asked instead of answering. He tugged at his hair again. Regulus spotted what the problem was.

“No, you’re not old. I’d say these made you look distinguished.” Regulus placated him. He reached up into James’s hair and stroked little circles into his scalp with his. James relaxed into Regulus's hands.

“Come on,” He said with a mischievous wink, “Follow me, and I’ll show you just how old you are.” Regulus walked away, unbuttoning his shirt and letting it drop to the floor.

James suddenly forgot what he’d been fretting about and followed the trail of clothes leading to their bedroom.
