Part 1. Part 2.
Josephine Greytooth is on a quest to find her missing father. As the sole heir of the Greytooth knights, she risked a lot by venturing outside Wolfspire keep in order to look for him. Through a series of unfortunate circumstances, she had to recruit the services of a mysterious drunk who was sleeping off his hangover in the barn she barricaded herself in from the bandits who were chasing after her.
As payment, Josephine gave the mysterious man the only thing she has of value: a gold necklace that her father gave her years ago. And thus, the pact between Josephine Greytooth and the God of Mercenaries was forged. The gold necklace transformed in his hands into his favoured weapon, Sellsword the shimmering blade.

The best part of drawing characters as ponies is coming up with terrible horse names for all of them.
@frostybearpaws there’s a lot of hearsay on the topic of basilisks, but to their knowledge none of the dragons have had any run in with such an awful creature.
No one knows what or where basilisk came from, a brother of dragonkind, or some kind of mockery of it. While the power of dragons is limited only by the limits of their desires, imagination, and self worth, a basilisk’s power is limited by its needs. A dragon is strong because they believe themselves to grow unbreakable horns, breathe fire, and control the wind. Basilisks are strong because whatever they need to die around them will simply do so.

@cynophoneus @tomialtooth You never know what you’ll get when you let a dragon choose the playlist.
Given that they're seemingly some of the older dragons in the cast, have Thuban and Greytooth known each other before Thuban's city went underwater? If not, what's their opinion of each other?
(Love that Thuban's based on an oarfish btw!)
The two never met until Thuban washed up on shore. He has always lived by or under the sea, while Greytooth has lived most her life in the mountains.
Greytooth finds him a fascinating fragment of a time before she was born, but too ignorant of the way of things are outside his ruins to be particularly insightful.
As with all his new neighbors, Thuban finds Greytooth extremely grotesque, more like a gaudy chimera then what he thinks a “dragon” outta look like. Despite that he does holds some degree of respect to her, being a better alternative to Belette and Craigore’s dominance.
Both are very aware of how they share a history of..similar injuries, and notice how each are not healing or doing so abnormally. They never bring this up with one another.
