The assignment was to create a composition using specific colors. The colors were clearly chosen with the intention that I draw flowers. 👀

I generally love drawing flowers, and this composition was especially relaxing and didn't feel so much difficult as tedious.

Swabby and Fellby took an instant liking to one another and began playing with the doll house whilst Grillby busied himself with chores, much to Fellby’s protesting.

Fellby hits it off quickly with his dad Smalt who brought little Swabby over for a visit.

Though Smalt was much more interested in spending time with his wife Aeris. They watched the stars together as the boys played in their shared bedroom.

Sadly Garrett was super tired from working in the garden all day and decided to head on up to bed   :(

Grillby goes to the family reunions of Swabby's family but how does he fit in? Like you said Grillby and Fellby's moms were twins... so are Grillby and Swabby just distant kin?

Well yes and no. All flames are related one way or another, often on many levels even. Think about it, you have a population of monster that rarely chooses partners outside their subclass (elementals), lives a long life, has maybe one offspring once in 100-500 years and most of the time more than 2 people are involved in bringing a new soul to life.

Now for Swabby. All flames are related to each other. On top of that, swabbys father Isatis and the dad Fellby never got to know (Smalt) were brothers. That’s the closest link they have. Buuuuut the three of them don’t know about that… so Grillby mostly went because they are all family.
