Gray Wolf Delisting Bill Blocked in Senate
Earlier this week, a procedural objection from Sen. Cory Booker, D-New Jersey, blocked consideration of S. 1036 by Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wisconsin, which would remove gray wolves from protection under the federal Endangered Species Act. A similar measure passed the House late last year in a bipartisan 211-204 vote. Supporters argue that wolf populations have recovered and now present significant challenges for livestock producers. Even if the legislation passes Congress and is signed by the president, gray wolves would remain protected under California law. Johnson could seek to bring the bill forward again later this year.

You're a really annoying soulslike monster. How do you lurk?
I perch like a gargoyle on some high vantage, glowering down at the world
I submerge myself in noisome muck with only my eyes poking above the surface
I wait behind a trap door or breakable wall, then burst out like BLAAARG
I look exactly like a pile of trash, debris, and/or bones until I stand up
I dwell in a deep and narrow hole and bite you when you try to look inside
I snipe you at range from a direction you wouldn't intuitively think to look
I come flying in from outside the camera's draw distance at Mach Fuck
I resemble some harmless environmental feature, forcing you to smash them all
I go invisible under certain conditions; can't go wrong with the classics!
I don't "lurk", as such, I just have a really bullshit spawn trigger

Just found out that Tim Jacobus has high res versions of his nearly 100 goosebumps covers on his website! There's no many cool details in them I've never noticed before.
Check them out here!
I've always loved the covers on these books. The colours; the juxtaposition of the monstrous with mundane suburban '90s kid life; the slight distortion of perspective that gives it a dream-like quality.

Just watched Nolan's Odyssey.
everything aside, judging the film on its own merits alone, it ass.
I do not respect anyone who bought a ticket nor do I believe anyone who claims the film is "decent if you look past the controversies".
You shouldn't look past the controversies but (if you do) you will find nothing of value.

âWho is the internet even for anymore?â is such a valid question. Companies are sanitizing the internet and stifling natural human expression in the name of child safety and being family friendly, but the kids such as fuck arenât benefitting from this. The internet is becoming too childish for adults and yet still too adult for kids.
At this point. the internet is for advertisers and nobody else.
âour age of bronze is collapsingâ is this beautiful random burst of monty python dialogue amidst the drudgery of nolanâs vision and i think it should win the first-ever oscar for best solitary line
