Grians seriously complaining that ppl are saying he broke the rules when he literally had a whole section stating the rules at the beginning of the series I-
Cmon dude. Just say “yeah i did” and move on. Its fine if you wanna change the rules and everyones okay with it. Its not fine to guilt trip your audience about commenting on the rule breaking.
Nobody’s “gatekeeping” by saying you broke your own rules. You did. If the rules “changed/evolved”, state that at the beginning of the video like you did the rules the first video, instead of in the comments after ppl call you out. If its “demotivating” to get those comments, maybe you should’ve been more transparent about the “changes” from the get-go.
Im happy everyone on the server is fine with it, and it is fun to watch. I honestly wasn’t too bothered about it until the pinned comment insinuated that the audience is wrong for their complaints about it. I dont wanna start an argument, Im loving the series, but that was seriously irritating on Grians part.

i hope you guys know that it’s so incredibly petty and childish to mock someone because they like someone or something. it’s like the kid in your elementary school that doesn’t like you because you like batman instead of superman and he thinks that superman is overrated. it’s like cringe culture, where you judge people negatively based off interests. no one should ever attack anyone because they watch one youtuber more than others.
guess what - grian had a big fanbase before hermitcraft, and he brought even more people to enjoy these series from his channel. i personally have discovered hermitcraft through his videos. do i dislike other hermits? no. does grian stand in a better place among all of them? no, because everyone has something good and enjoyable in their content that others don’t. hermitcraft is a project of diversity and acceptance of diversity, and also endless positivity and love, that anyone can enjoy in their videos on the worst day.
