Hey look, a pile of candy!

Okay so once I had a dream that I found a clutch of abandoned griffin eggs and took them home because what else can ya do

And when they hatched I held up a blue one and said, probably jokingly, that I was going to name him Skittles.

So, here are Skittles and his siblings!

They are my children and I love them all dearly

Fun fact, each of them is based on different pairs of macaw species, as well as a singular member of Panthera:

Skittles: Scarlet macaw / Hyacinth macaw + (Melanistic) Leopard

Starburst: Blue and yellow macaw / Blue-throated macaw + Jaguar

Razzle: Gold-collared macaw / Red-bellied macaw + Tiger

Mamba: Glaucous macaw / Spix’s macaw + Snow leopard

Jellybean: Great green macaw / Military macaw + Lion

Was thinking about what Razzle might look like as one of Diel’s crew members and ngl… she’d look pretty cool as a pirate captain / Diel’s successor
