a rule you think is important when it comes to role playing

The godmodding rule is extremely important. Communicate with your writing partner on things that involve heavily influence the other person’s character. Playing Richard Trager, I run into people sometimes that think making their character weirdly and persistently unafraid of my evil fucked up character is a cute move. When he finally does something in retaliation they usually complain about it. That, in my opinion, is godmodding.

as octane continued to run in zig-zags across the field. the stun came in handy, because just as bangalore would’ve blown his brains out, octane pulled his p-2020 from its holster and gave her a clean shot through her forehead, ultimately eliminating her.

but the kill wouldn’t count for octane. he wasn’t going to complain, anyway-- he was just glad to assist.

he finally stopped in his tracks to look back up where he knew the shot from riot came from. he saw her scope from afar and waved at her excitedly.
