Grimoire for the Green Witch review

My rating for this book is 3 stars out of 5.

I picked this book up thinking it would be as informative as Arin Murphy-Hiscock’s The Green Witch and boy was i wrong. This grimmoire was made up mostly of rituals in which i do not partake in my practice, confusing astrological charts, and some lists of meanings. I can see this book being very helpful to someone who goes all out and does rituals, observes EVERY sabbath and smaller festivals, and praises the God and Goddess. This book, with the price it was in Canadian dollars, was not your cheapest resource book and if i still had the receipt it would be returned. The saving grace for this Grimoire/BOS (whatever you want to call it although grimoires and book of shadows are different, were the:

- lists of magical properties for herbs, candles, crystals

- lists of teas you can concoct yourself to treat different things such as cramps

-The palmistry run down at the end of the book. Does anyone have any reviews or opinions on this book that they’d like to share? I’d love to hear!

Witch tip:

you can buy a fancy grimmoire/ book to shadows if you want, but also buy some spiralbound notecards. You can use these as your first draft BOS and they're also handy for name papers if you cut or rip them to the right size. Also very good for sigils you don't need to hide, and you can rip them out and glue them in your BOS if you like the spells/information on them!
