send me some ellie thoughts. wanna do the thing where i flesh them out into those long ass asks that i've been doing as of late (sfw or nsfw).
rantanen smashing and breaking his stick on the bench. i don’t approve of such acts but i do smile seeing how the jets frustrate their opponents
so new oc world. rubs my hands together mischievously. let’s see if i can make this clear enough to explain
the city itself
basically it’s a sort of sprawling gritty greasy gross city where all unused/forgotten ocs go to die. except they don’t die it’s more of a purgatory/limbo sort of thing
the city is very black and gray tar colour with glinting red accents core. you know. smoke fills the air and blocks out the sun, vermin run throughout the streets, people have taken up residence in the mostly abandoned buildings, etc. ill make a more detailed list of some loosely defined areas soon
it’s vast and sprawling as i said, but there’s like. a thick dusty-coloured fog-storm-thing that fills the air and encroaches especially right on the edge of the city, so thick you can barely see three feet in front of you once you step into it. the deeper you go the harder it gets to walk through, and if you walk far enough (not very far) you just end up back at the edge of the city again. so nobody can leave
there’s no official leader or anything but there’s like unofficial factions, but they’re all rather weak and can get dismantled easily, so that’s why nobody’s risen to try to take full power of it yet. they mostly begrudgingly coexist but there’s very frequent brisk turf wars. this is a lawless land, and these citizens can injure each other to hell and back but they can’t die really (cause they’re already sort of dead)
when people first enter the city they can only vaguely remember their past life/purpose in the past story/etc. the surface areas of the city are mostly characters who believe they might still have a chance at being reincarnated; other more hidden away places, like those who take shelter in ruined towers or in wrecked subway systems underneath the streets, live those who believe they’re never going to leave this hellhole
a bit more logistic stuff
so if you’re forgotten and sent here, however might you possibly escape? through reincarnation. (aka me eventually taking the oc, revamping their design but usually keeping their name, and plopping them in some active oc world to be used again)

if someone is redesigned but eventually goes back to being unused again, they reenter the city. this invites the possibility of rediscovering their old body along the way, which they won’t remember. they’ll likely look at it and think “this looks vaguely like me”, and that would likely leave a haunting feeling in the pit of their stomach that they can’t explain. but that would really depend on whether their old design looks like their redesign or not lol
