When thinking about what type of Grisha I'd be, I often thought "I'd like to be a Durast", when in reality, I'd already be one in some way. Like sure, I can't do the complicated stuff and I don't work with metal and stuff, but I'm still CREATING things. I draw and paint, I crochet, I (very rarely and badly) sew, I make buttons and bracelets and what not. I would love to get to into engineering, but I'm not smart enough for that because I already struggle with maths and such things, but at the end of the day, many of my hobbies would make me a Durast in some way and this makes me very happy XD

Jesper incorporated purple (the colour of his Grisha order) into his barrel flash. Because bright and wild colours are used often in the barrel even grisha colours (purple, red and blue) would probably go unnoticed

Out of sheer curiosity, what grisha order do you think you’d be in?

Honestly? Probably a Durast Materialki! I feel if I were Grisha, I would have a stronger connection to materials, metal and the earth than any other substance (wind, fire, hearts). Also, I am drawn to the prospect of making and inventing, which is why I love art and woodwork so much!

Though I do feel like Leigh missed out on an opportunity to make the Materialki soldiers too, as being able to fashion blades and weapon out of a metal lock on a window, or transform the enemy’s guns to work against them or even cause the ground beneath them to collapse would have been interesting to read!

Can you tell I’ve thought about this on multiple occasions and daydreamed about it lmao
