It isn’t done but it was the deadline so to the county fair it went.
"-and a security system designed by one of them grisha witches!"
"Fabrikator."
Why doesn’t the little palace utilise fabrikators in combat? I can think of some many cool reasons why Durasts especially could be the strongest order. They literally manipulate the world around them ffs! Also easily the most useful in day to day life
What if Wylan and Jesper were both Grisha in the second army?
Jes probably refuses to wear his Kefta right and Wy probably likes to experiment too much.
Is this just my excuse to have drawn an Alkemi Kefta for Wy and think of how badass a fully trained Jesper would be still gunslinging about? Yes. yes it it.
When thinking about what type of Grisha I'd be, I often thought "I'd like to be a Durast", when in reality, I'd already be one in some way. Like sure, I can't do the complicated stuff and I don't work with metal and stuff, but I'm still CREATING things. I draw and paint, I crochet, I (very rarely and badly) sew, I make buttons and bracelets and what not. I would love to get to into engineering, but I'm not smart enough for that because I already struggle with maths and such things, but at the end of the day, many of my hobbies would make me a Durast in some way and this makes me very happy XD
who else thinks it would be rad as hell to have an au where jesper sticks around and trains with sankta neyar or even starts out training with her? like would that be sick or what
Have you ever noticed how the embroidery on the Durast Keftas kinda looks like thorns or antlers? Do you think this was Aleksanders way of recognising his grandfather as the "greatest Fabrikator to have ever lived"? Because I do.
