If you’re wondering how my days going, it was delightful until I had to carry 2 very full paper bags of groceries home from the store, only to have one fall out of my hands on the sidewalk 50 feet from my house

On the first week of school, instead of telling the lunch lady my lunch number I told her 700 PLU. That number is greeting cards.

Friendly reminder that if you go to a store and you appreciate how an employee is treating you, handling your order, or just generally being accommodating, take the time to tell a manager. Even if it’s when you’re walking out the store and you just tell them ‘hey so and so over there did a great job bagging my groceries’ or ‘hey Susie Q was really nice and went and got something out from the back for me’ you have no idea how something like a small compliment can make 8 hours of rude comments and angry stares seem okay

Sometimes the groceries I choose depend a bit on the amount of judgment I anticipate at the check-out counter:

Should I buy these cinnamon rolls?

But I already have hot dogs and pizza in my cart...

But I want cinnamon rolls.

Maybe if I buy the cinnamon rolls AND a bag of veggies?
