Neon storms buzz near,

Burger’s grease, synth-cold.

Faces blur, all deadpan drear,

Chrome-cat’s stare too bold.

No holo-lamp to flick

My post through data-haze.

My wires sweat, I’m half-sick,

Ghost-code chokes my gaze.

I glitch, I trip,

Chasing meaning’s crumb.

No signal, my soul’s a blip,

Camgirl’s stream hums numb.

Static spikes my core,

I duck the drone’s red glare.

I fumble through the city’s lore,

Sky’s cracked, I just stare.

Megacorp’s towers blind,

Their ads scar my eyes raw.

My dumb dreams, they grind,

Stuck in freedom’s flaw.

Datastream’s hymn drones low,

Code I mumble, lost.

Jack-in, crash, I don’t know

Void’s my heart’s exhaust.

Soul-fires sputter dim,
