My original digital art inspired by the last words of Olenna Tyrell.
Olenna knew she was going to die anyway, so she decided to have the last laugh.
"Yeah, I killed your insane, twerpy little bastard. What of it? I'd do it again. Whatcha gonna do about it?" *mike drop*
Growing strong 🥀
I made this necklace based off of a conversation between Margaery and Olenna Tyrell in season 4 of Game of Thrones. What can I say? I like Joffery’s taste.
5 years and he still give me butterflies 🦋
While watching the GoTs last season I was inspired to make some consoles for the Houses. These are the three I’ve done so far. Stark and Greyjoy are in the planning stages.
Game of Thrones
My thoughts on Game of Thrones Warning: Spoilers ahead!
GoT is my religion since 2011. I’m a proud fan and I was here from day one when Bran was pushed down from the tower of Winterfell. I watched the execution of Ned, the birth of the dragons, I screamed when Oberyn died, I cried when we had to hold the door, I was shocked when the roses burned. I had the goose bumps when Drogon saved Dany from the pit, when they won the battle of Meereen, when they left Essos, when Bran warged or had visions. I experienced many different emotions in a complex fantasy world and for that I’m grateful. You should be grateful too. I think all your criticism should be secondary after a big fat “Thanks You!”. Martin wrote an amazing story, HBO made an awesome series, hundreds if not thousands of people were working on it for you to put your fat ass down on the sofa and enjoy frickin dragons on the screen for free. Ungrateful bastards. Want to write better? Write one! Want to direct better? Go for it! Don’t be overly critical just to look more sophisticated. Don’t be overly sensitive if something is not happening the way you wanted. You are spoiled and annoying. Calm down. Now that we are on the same page let’s see how it could have been even better: I must admit that once the show left the books something changed. It escalated slowly and became obvious when most people had the highest expectations. I’ve been waiting for an epic Minas Tirith battle with the Golden Company on elephants, Dragons in the sky, Cersei using wildfire in crazy ways, Night King marching with frozen undead giant armies. I got some of this and I got a proper bittersweet ending but it’s not completely satisfying. The road we took to reach this conclusion was rushed and different from previous seasons. I personally would have made 2 seasons from the last one. A season completely dedicated for the battle against the Night King and one season for the battle for the throne. On the question of the battle for Winterfell I totally agree with the following YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7m6HP95EDM I highly recommend it! In this season we could have more explanation of what the Night King wants, what Bran is and how his magic works, how Dany slowly goes mad/depressed, more Dany and Jon interaction, more cities being completely destroyed on the way to Winterfell, more Greyjoy politics, more Jamie-Cersei-Brien, more about red priests and priestesses and they role in the great war (...) but eventually there would be a same kind of victory. The closing scene is the Golden company arriving to Kings Landing with elephants. We are excited because it seems like Cersei will have the advantage. The final season would show much more Westeros politics, betrayal, and spying before the actual battle. Euron Greyjoy deserves a better character arc and a better dying scene showing his real power, Dany is feeling isolated and depressed loosing most of her army and Jon’s affection, the new prince of Dorn has to pick a side if any, Sam doing something important in the Citadel, Cersei comes up with the plan of scorpions on the wall and a self-destruct option with wild fire if everything goes wrong (...) Eventually we reach the point of no return. The battle goes on in 2 sides. Jon fights the Golden Company (for real) on the ground and Dany (+fleet) fights Euron on sea. Rhaegal would die in the middle of the battle and this would be the trigger that changes something in Dany. Losing another child in the middle of the battle is a good enough reason to “burn them all”. If you ever had a child or a pet, you would understand. Especially on the back of a dragon where you give the order, but your hands won’t be dirty. With these changes we could give more time to the characters to reach their destiny in a more satisfying way. All in all, I’m happy with the ending episode and I think the mad queen twist was amazing. Thanks for bringing fantasy to mainstream media like HP and LotR did before. You were and always will be in my heart!
