It took me a while to figure out how to fit seven people in a lineup and make it fun to look at🫡 The ✨ struggles of arting ✨ But! I’m happy with how this turned out! I love the blue and red contrast :)

Angelina Yule Ball

Dress designs for Angelina's Yule Ball look. I wanted to dive back into this series for a bit because I felt like drawing pretty dresses :) ❄️ Angelina was fun to work with. I wanted to try many different styles and ideas. We all know Angelina is a force of nature and I wanted to show that in her look. She's a real girls' girl, always supporting her friends and peers and she is confident. I wanted to show that she's fun and kind, but not to be messed with. She will end you :) I personally love 2,3,4 and I am very eager to hear your thoughts about my ideas! Feel free to share them in the comments! <3 ✨

⚡️✨Katie Bell✨⚡️

This girl just drew herself, really. No effort needed. I liked the actress that portrayed Katie in the films, so I took inspiration from her dark hair and put my own spin on the rest ✨

There is something I have always struggled with when seeing sporty girls represented on screen or in fan art… it’s that they’re always athletically built. Now, that makes sense, in a way, because to make a character design believable it is the easiest way to get the message across: this girl is fit.

But when it comes to representing women in the athletic field, this is not always true. You can be strong and fit and still have rounder arms or legs. You can still have a belly! Unless you’re actively trying to loose weight, exercising does not mean you look like an Olympic runner or swimmer or whatever. 🫡

So, I try to draw real girls, that are sporty, but aren’t necessarily skinny. I hope that makes sense. I’m trying to do better with my designs and incorporating more different body types, to step away from those stereotypes, so maybe you don’t agree with me and think: huh, but she’s still pretty skinny. I’m trying some things, one character at a time :) 🧡☀️🥇
