Models by Games Workshop. Using these as a warpriest and warhound for my witch hunter warband in Mordheim.

Lord-Imperatant and Gryph Hound. I wasn’t wild about these two until I started painting them, and the big Stormdaddy really grew on me.
2019 painting retrospective

December: Finished a pair of commission project but they’re missing bases so no lightbox pictures of them just yet. Except seeing them very soon though.
So that was my year in painting. And my backlog is nowhere near done as I got a whole bunch of Primaris marines to paint. Do want to expand with some more AoS models as well. But so far all the ones I really want have been event exclusive ones which are nigh impossible for me to get my hands on without paying way too much. Come on GW, stop putting all the cool female Stormcast behind event gates or subscriptions of magazines that will never come out here.

Rogue Trader Captain Corléaz of House Corléaz alongside her pet Gryph-Hound Aldryn, honour guards and giant Carnosaur lizard that was recently added to her growing mangerie after a visit to the Tekila system.

My first proper painting commission job. In this case for my friend @norkoartstuff. Happy to finally get to paint a Carnosaur as that has always been something I’ve wanted to paint. Next time I might actually get to keep it. Also next time I might to a better job at magnetising the foot because it ended up a bit wobbly. But at least it stays on. Fun fact, its footprint is abysmal so unless you attach it to something it will tip over all the time. The rogue trader is built on a Genestealer Magus with a Farseer sword hand and an Escher last pistol arm. The head is from the Stormcast Sequitor set, aka the only good female heads available up till the new Sisters release. The honor guard pole arms are Scion banners with the flags replaced by Grey Knight power glaives. Finally got a use for those flags. Otherwise they are just basic Scions without backpacks.
Finished a very good boy (or girl even) over the week. Tried following the Gryph Charger flesh tutorial video but I messed up the dry brushing and glazing steps a little and had to improvise a bit after that.
Still, came out pretty well in the end. Wish I had more of them to paint but only got the one earlier.
