AU where Steve is Italian, his parents moved to America when he was little. He speaks both Italian and English and when Robin finds out she thinks it’s the perfect opportunity for conversation practice. Conversation practice for the two of them quickly evolves into them talking shit, making fun of each other’s crushes and Steve complaining about how Dustin is going to make his hair turn grey before he even reaches 30.
Eddie thinks it’s really hot when Steve speaks Italian. And when his name comes up amidst the rest of the conversation he can’t help getting flustered. What he doesn’t know is Steve is usually defending his crush on Eddie while Robin is like, “I watched Eddie pour a whole carton of milk into a cereal box, swish it around a little and tip the entire thing into his mouth yesterday and you think my taste in women is bad?!”
