Honestly, because of Kinnporsche my first thought any time the word 'gun' is used now is that it's a d*ck reference 🤦🏽‍♀️ ...so why not add 'sword' to that too. I mean, Word of Honor already went there so...

My #rs_moodchallenge8k entry for @rosie_scribbles! The moodboard instantly made me think of this oc/story concept I had in the back of my mind so here she is!

The concept is about a team of strong female characters of different ethnicities (kinda like Charlie's Angels but more ethnically diverse?), while attempting to avoid the stereotypes often associated with said ethnicities. With that out of the way, here's Gadget! The inventor of the group, she's generally cheerful and high-energy. Her main goal is to improve the world through her creations and improvements, a goal that arose soon after she got her prosthetic arm (which she of course and modified to her liking)

Included is the concept art featuring the sword form of her weapon "Switchblade" and the design on her jacket! The initial concept involved a variety of poses to showcase her character, which was changed to a single pose because executive dysfunction is a thing 🙃 You can also check out the timelapse over on Insta!

GUN X SWORD VAN

Trigun and GunXSword are almost the same anime in my mind. 

Sci-fi western, takes place on a mostly desert planet, main character is a tall man with a complicated past, followed around by a plucky and energetic female character (or 2), gets really heavy and angsty at the end. 

Same show. 

Trigun I think was a bit deeper as far as character motivations and philosophy go. 

But GunXSword was more fun. The robots were named after the days of the week.
