Multi-Platinum, Award winning band Daughtry cut "Utopia" for the theme song of Fox's new reality TV show UTOPIA. American Idol’s very own Daughtry just happens to be the voice behind the show’s theme song. American Idol season 5 finalist Daughtry was tapped to record the theme song for the new Utopia reality TV show, which debuted on FOX September 7th. The song was also released as a single on RCA Records the same day as the show premiered. Utopia was written by Guy Robin, Leon Palmen, Scarlett Saunders.

Bumpy heart-melting deep house
I have a serious weakness for deep house with vocals, probably because I am a daydreamer and because of a trip to London a few years ago, along with my Euro-soul. I enjoy sunsets, modern & fancy girl's washrooms, drinking, mingling, eating, all which go fabulously with deep house. Another one from Guy Robin, the one I dance to in my shower, the one that makes me want to sip wine, get dolled up, and have a good night lounging and partying with sexy boys and girls. Another new deep house track I just came across that is dope... And another old one by one of my fave female producers Maya Jane Coles...hummingbird :)
During a jog on the beautiful Vancouver seawall the other night while the pinky orange sun was setting and this song came up on my playlist. Wow, I had a music-gasm. The flow of sound from this beautiful loungy bass house track...it set me free (as corny as that sounds).
