Tumblr, I got to ask your opinion on this. The following pic is a conversation between me and a guy who I went on a couple causal dates with earlier this year. After sitting down and having the conversation of how we wanted things to proceed, we realized our wants were a bit too different. So we went our separate ways.

We haven’t spoken in 8 months. Then I get a message the other day from him. We briefly talked about job woes and then he asks me a thing.

So Tumblr, I ask you, how should I look at this? Friends say one thing. Family says another. And maybe I'm just paranoid. (I haven't responded yet)

So Tumblr, what's your answer?

I figured out why I always get really annoyed when I find out a guy has a thing for me.

It’s because they never take the rejection as a rejection (well, none of the...13+ who have had crushes on me). It’s always, “Aw, c’mon give me a chance, you’re not ace, you just haven’t found your kink yet,” etc etc etc. 

And so as soon as a guy has a crush on me, I know I’m gonna have to go through the same song and dance as before (because for some reason I attract the really needy, borderline psychotic guys, and I’m not exaggerating. I had one write about drowning in the blood of children in my yearbook, another one started looking up where I live and shit, one v briefly stalked me, etc, etc, etc).

Which is disappointing because among other things, I thought I was doing a pretty good job of, you know, avoiding guys in general.

My boyfriend says that I have a crush on this guy I’ve been friends with since middle school, I’m pretty sure I had a crush on him like 8th grade/ freshman year, but that has since blossomed into a nice and healthy friendship... how do I convince my boyfriend that I don’t like this guy like that anymore?

I found this in my drafts from a few months ago and thought I’d post it anyway. Its from April 2017.

Your anniversary and birthday has just passed - Happy 22nd Birthday! I hope you had a ball. 

Things here have been kind of shit. I've been seeing a guy from work. It's gotten pretty serious but I overheard that he supposedly asked out another girl from work. I heard her talking about it but every time I bring it up he never answers me and gets defensive. I know he hasn't actually been out on a date with her but now we're in that in between stage where we are still in a relationship but aren't really speaking which I hate because we've went from speaking and seeing each other everyday to not speaking and only seeing each other in work. I miss him. But he's at fault here, right? He's the one asking out other girls. Even if they are friends or not isn't that something he would tell me? The last time I spoke to him was Thursday and he's not replied to my last text. 

Aside from that my sister and grandad have both been in and out of hospital and my aunt has breast cancer. I've really been missing not having you here to chat to about this stuff.
