I’m reading in undertow and riptide again. And I am blown away. Again.

The smut is great, of course. Toe curling-ly delicious.

But christ, the inner thoughts, the contiguous thoughts in the parentheses. It just brings the whole thing together in such a satisfying way.

I’ve said it before, but it beats repeating..the descriptiveness of your writing, the way you set a scene up is so comprehensive, I feel like I barely need to put in any effort of my imagination to picture it. It just appears in my mind.

In riptide, I had my heart in my throat, the gravity of the situation the reader was in was so apparent, I felt it. Hearing 141’s voices in her head, interspersed with memories. It’s what it would feel like, no? In a scenario like that you have to rely on what you got to see you through. And memories and echoes is what the reader has. And the flow of it…it just WORKS.

I will probably definitely be reading these again. I feel like I appreciate them more every time.
