My honest thoughts on WinGoji, in short

I don't mind the idea of Godzilla being portrayed as an amoral or antagonistic force of wrath - honestly, I generally prefer a villainous or necessarily-evil Godzilla to a heroic one.

What I DO have a problem with is that the Adam Wingard-directed films in the Monsterverse flanderise the same Godzilla that was established in 2014 and expanded on in KotM, ignoring what those previous films' directors said about him, ignoring and forgetting about his established emotive connection to humanity from KotM in particular, and taking much away from his mystique. All to change him from a "last samurai"-type figure into a hotheaded heel.

One thing I think Legendary flunked with Godzilla's design is the liposuction in the evolved form is not giving him visible scars.

Sure, it'd have been hell for the CGI compartemt, design them, keeping them constant, readjust the color, shadows etc but come on, is not plausible that this Godzilla, for the role and character he is has none(as far as I know).

In GvsK he got AN axe in his thight, burn on his chest and nothing??!!!

Yeah, disappointed, underwhelming even.

Was browsing through Wikizilla in my free time and came across this on Walter Simmons' article:

Saying the Brain-Computer Interface is ready when it still has enough testing problems and bugs attached to it that completing a project of the Interface's nature now would be pure Stupid Evil even for a truly heartless CEO who cares about their wallets? CHECK.

So detached from reality and all common sense that he has the ideological and moral intelligence of a four-year-old when it comes to: "protecting humanity"/promoting "free speech" on a major social networking platform? Oh, C.H.E.C.K..

Makes one scratch their head wondering (and feeling a little concerned) that a man who acts THIS dumb somehow became THIS powerful and influential in this day and age? CHECK!
