I love that whenever Merlin, Arthur, and Gwaine are in the same 1 mile radius as each other, every scene just devolves into a battle to the death for Merlin’s honor.
(Yes this was triggered by the time they all got kidnapped by Cenred, and Arthur sacrificed himself for Merlin (AGAIN) by volunteering to fight the champion (Gwaine) and then Merlin ofc ended up saving them both with that fire. And then Arthur and Gwaine are arguing in the woods about who was actually winning and Merlin goes “both you divas sucked, and the fire is the only reason we got out of there alive” (3x12))
