"I am Groot." Hello, and welcome.
gxmofpxwer started following you
It had been such a pleasant day… No fights in the club, no jerks pestering him, no work the next day so He could stay until late. And on top of that a fan had brought him a huge box of handmade chocolates. The god was so happy that he had decided to walk all the way to his home outside the city, humming his way therough the sweets with delight.
Until he had heard the unfamiliar sound of gears.
The god turned around to follow the sound. it seemed to come from a junkyard at the other side of a brick wall. But it didn’t look like an hobo searching for scratchs into a deceased fellow, more like a battle armor like Stark's. Just... different. So, being the curious god he was, Loki let the box at the floor, unlaced his high heel boots and throw them over his shoulder. After that it was easy to jump and climb the wall in a few precise movements.
And, as he had expected, there was a suit of armor standing in the middle of the junkyard. What was it doing here, the god had no idea, but it wasn't an iron man's suit, he was sure of that. And he couldn't see the face wearing it either.
So, instead of doing what any inteligent being would do, and shy away, Loki jumped to the ground, his bare feet not making any sound, and sneaked near the figure, trying to discern better the stranger was any danger for the neightbourhood the god now considered his home.

After the Battle Is Lost
The battle of New York had been a failure, just as Loki suspected. The last shred of morality he had was destroyed as Thor attached the Asgardian enchanted muzzle to Loki's face and cuffed his hands together with handcuffs engraved with Norse symbols. Loki Odinson was no more. Everyone in Asgard knew that. Thor knew that. Loki knew that.
When Loki was forced back to Asgard, he was given no trial. No due process. No fairness, in his eyes, at least. Not even his mother believed him when he begged over and over again to be set free. No one believed Loki, the God of Lies, was telling the truth about this. His tales of Thanos, the mad Titan, torturing him physically and mentally were too much to believe. Far too elaborate of lies to the Allfather, who sentenced Loki to live out the remainder of his life in the prison. Loki didn't mind much. The Asgardian prisons were simple to escape from.
However, Loki realized very quickly he wasn't going to the Asgardian prisons when Thor dragged him to the Bifrost and to Midgard, exactly where Loki had waged war not too long ago. He was left at S.H.I.E.L.D. and locked into one of their glass prison chambers, created for a monster much stronger than even himself.
There was no escape. There wasn't a single thing Loki could do to get out nor pass the time. He found himself sitting on the glass floor, traced Norse symbols on the glass with his fingertips. His magic was blocked in the cell, sadly. He didn't even have that anymore.
After a couple days of self loathing, Loki finally noticed the cell opposite of his, where another prisoner sat, facing away from Loki. His anger and frustration left him fidgety, but most of all, lonely. He watched the other cell for a moment before finally asking,
"What did you do to get into a prison cell here?"
