PT told me that she's SO impressed with my progress and idk how to tell her that it's bc every time i'm about to fail a rep i think about pope cody dragging himself back home with a gaping wound in his side by sheer force of will alone
I'm not a gym screamer but I do lift a lot of weight and sometimes I can't help some grunts during the sets or the occasional gasp after I finish them. I rarely notice I do this until there's some older guy beside me giving me side eyes and looking kinda flustered/uncomfortable
It's always an older guy bc they're the ones who don't usually wear headphones at the gym so it ain't my fault, really 🤷🏽♂️
