It’s said a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. there's something oddly poetic about the way creatine works.
it doesn't give you anything new. it doesn't add muscle from thin air or inject energy out of nowhere. what it does is restore something your body was already trying to make — ATP. the fuel that fires every explosive movement. every heavy pull. every sprint that should have broken you but didn't. you're not enhancing yourself. you're just finally running at the capacity you were always capable of. i think about that sometimes in the gym. the idea that the ceiling wasn't as low as i thought. i was just working with a half-empty tank. one scoop. unflavoured. mixed into whatever you're already drinking. no drama, no ritual. just fuel — quiet and consistent and real. if you've been training hard and not seeing the numbers move, maybe it's not your program. maybe it's not your discipline. maybe your muscles just need a little more to work with. worth thinking about.
I want to go to the gym but I’m too lazy. The ambition is there, somewhere under a thick blanket of inertia. Maybe tomorrow I’ll be stronger. Or maybe I’ll just keep romanticizing the idea of discipline without ever touching it.
