GNC liberation must happen. In many countries being gnc is a crime, toppled by the explicit erasure of trans existence. GNC people are removed from consideration within the LGBTQIA+ coummunity. We are much more likely to be targetted by both our governments and local community.

This video is a perfect model of how conservative society views GNC men, one of the less extreme cases where a man simply speaks talks about makeup of all issues.

So what is Gynarchophobia?

Gynarchophobia (also kwown as Gynandrophobia) is bigotry against masculine women and GNC women as a whole and their lived experiences. This includes but is not limited to:

The belief a woman cannot be masculine. Stereotyping mascline woman as androgynous, the belief of divine femininity and inate femininity within all women. The lesbophobic belief you have to be lesbian to be masculine as a woman. The belief masculine women face less oppression. Bilittlement of HetGNC women's oppression and experience.

The fear and disgust of female led relationships and role reversal dynamics. A woman's dominance not being respected. A belief masculine women operate on the same gendered experience the same as feminine women.

Erasure of female bisexual masculinity. Fetishization and obiectificationof masculine women by any group.

And much, much more.

Butch trans women having to explain their entire existence to other trans women will never not be crazy to me. It sometimes really is your own people and I'm tired of pretending it's not a problem many of us experience. You're operating like a fucking cop to your own trans sisters.

In my mind, alot of what I post isn't radical at all, but just something sensitive for the world at this moment to understand.

A concept like:

"Female Masculinity and Male Femininity are constantly objectified, discriminated against, and pushed down upon in even in the most accepting queer spaces."

Isn't bad until someone realizes that their perception of malehood, or femalehood is limited. Even in regards to straight cis people, who under "normal circumstances" are our oppressors, right?

Which is correct. In most cases they are, even if the system may hurt us all. But these people aren't them. The same system that's used against it's most vunerable: Genderqueer and Trans People.

When it comes to truly understanding the breadth of gender, you must be able to be honest about how uncomfortable it will make you feel. How gender has sutbly been taught to all of us as being based in biology and the fear that comes with gender transgression.

Concepts of Gynarchophobia and Cuphobia weren't made in spite of another queer group you personally think is more valued. It's rooted in the real experiences of straight genderqueer people, butches, twinks, femboys, tomboys. All names for an experience that's been copted, slandered, degraded and left out (often by their own merit). There is a specific dislike of men being feminine and still being men and women being masculine but still women, even for trans individuals. Tradtionally we are told Femininity is enforced and created by women, and Masculinity by men.

Virago and Mollis are steps in the direction where GNC people can live alongside eachother with pride. Promoting understanding a way of being as sovereign, their existence not negating anyone elses.

Advocating for more representation of women using strap-ons on men, calling it a reversal of typical PIV sex, or calling it an (intrinsically) GNC sex act is not erasure of clit/vulva centric sex.
