Totally off topic but I’m really thinking of Aerion x dragon!hybrid reader?!!!!! The idea has been bouncing around in my head and it’s just so 🤤🤤🤤
Just for an even more interesting dynamic, let’s make reader a lowborn commoner or even a servant of the red keep. Maybe one day she came across a library and plucked a spell book off of the shelf in curiosity before dismissively reading a spell that, once spoken out loud, gives her the ability to turn into a dragon. Of course reader has no idea because after reading it, nothing much happens apart from her head mildly hurting and her senses getting sharper.
However after realizing what’s happened to her, she slowly starts realizing that her life’s just gotten 10x worse. Obviously she’s smart enough to know that people would not react amicably to seeing a dragon in real lofe. So, in order to prevent any accidents, she begins practicing her new abilities at hours late into the night or hours super early in the morning, when no one is awake. Little does she know that one particular princeling of the red keep has an incredibly flawed sleep schedule.
One particular morning, when reader is relishing a flight through the cool morning wind, Aerion, who’s gazing longingly out of his window like a princess stuck in a tower, manages to catch a glimpse of a large winged creature flying amongst the clouds.
Nevertheless, he manages to go madder than he already is. He’s absolutely certain that the Gods have finally listened to him and brought back the dragons. And of course, with his obsession of them, he believes that the one he’s seen is rightfully his.
He goes around telling his family about the magnificent dragon he’s seen. None of his family believes him of course, they know about his moments of madness. Still, he goes on and on, convinced that what he’s seen is real. “I have blood of the dragon, the gods have brought them back for me. They know it is my destiny to be a dragon rider.”
Meanwhile dragon reader is sweating bullets whenever hearing of the prince gush over her dragon form. Whenever she’s in his chambers to clean up after him and she sees the books on ancestral dragons on his desk, you best believe she rushes outta there as fast as she can.
For a while she stops going out, Aerion stops seeing the dragon. And both are in lots of discomfort because readers dragon has to come out at times to be sated, and Aerion is getting agitated by not seeing his dragon again.
One night, on a full moon, reader decides that she HAS to go out and unleash the dragon. She’s been too irritated, moody, and uncomfortable by keeping it inside. How was she to know that ever since the dragon sighting, Aerion has been searching the woods for any other chances at seeing the magnificent creature?
How was she supposed to know that he was watching her from afar when she went poof! and transformed into the very magnificent creature that he’s been dreaming of for weeks???
Once he sees her transform, a stupidly happy smile sprawls over his face. He’s never been this happy EVER in his life before. This is probably the first he’s ever felt genuine happiness before. And once he realizes that his dragon is not only a magnificent winged creature, but rather a magnificent human woman too, he knows for damn sure that he has to have her as his own.
After all, he’s always dreamed of riding a dragon…
Let me know what you think!

Welcome to the blog H anon!
Aerion would adore her. He believes she's been put here for him, in this form, to allow him to bring back the dragons once and for all.
And she's remarkably pretty too, so Aerion has no problem finding a place for her in his chambers, or maybe she's reluctant enough that he gets her plush, lavish chambers of her own, right across from his. He won't do anything (intentionally) that would make her uncomfortable around him. She's his!
She, and the majestic dragon that she becomes, are his ultimate dream. He keeps the secret to himself for a while, but finally he's parading her in front of his father and uncle, watching their astonished expressions at his words.
It doesn't take long for the loving, adoring words he lays on thick to finally get to her, and soon she's whining as he fills her up each and every night, sliding inside of her with such care. She can't know he's believing that their children would be dragons too...
