Since it's been a while since I've drawn something Smurfy, here's a piece I did of Smurfette, Sassette, Vexy, and Hackus together as a family.

i feel like vexy would be the type to join controversial fandoms and purposefully start discourse online. like, she's a Naughty, "causing problems on purpose" is her whole thing. she's definitely said some offensive things on the internet not because she believes them, but because it pisses people off. when gargamel and azrael are out she and her brother have nothing to do except troll people online. vexy is a 4chan user. hackus is not as good at using the internet as vexy but he likes to watch her messing with people and suggests things for her to say. they probably both like offensive humor. made too late to participate in the worst of the hetalia fandom, made too early to reblog thomas jefferson miku binder.

these traits would be upsetting in a human but when it's a tiny little 7 1/2 inch tall homunculus, it's funny.

My Smurfs AU Headcanons

I'm still working on some of the headcanons, and I might make a part two to this, but here's what I got so far. Papa Smurf. He's definitely settled down a bit since the events of The Lost Village, he's gotten a bit calmer, has been taking more time to himself, and his work, and has married SmurfWillow. He's still the one the smurfs come to when troubles a foot, and is still willing to do whatever it takes to protect his family. He's been teaching Bella to control her magic better, as explained before, her magic goes haywire when her emotions get too unstable, and he's occasionally been put in danger trying to teach her, but it's all worth it to him. Smurfette. After the events of The Smurfs 2, she started practicing magic, and has actually gotten quite good at it, unlike Gargamel though, she uses her magic for good. She started dating Brainy sometime after the events of The Lost Village, and their relationship is going strong. She still questions herself on being a smurf sometimes, but she doesn't let it bother her anymore, and if it ever does, she has her sisters, her brother, her boyfriend, her friends, and Papa Smurf to comfort her. Clumsy. He's still pretty much the same, except he's been hanging around Bella more than anyone else, even Brainy. He is responsible for finding Bella, and bringing her to the village. He's been helping Brainy with his writing career, and helping Smurfette with her magic. After some time, he started to develop feelings for Bella, but he doesn't wanna ruin their friendship, so he hasn't told her. Brainy. He's been working really hard on his writing career in recent years, and has started writing stories of his own. He's been a lot less of a stuck up know-it-all since he got with Smurfette, and is actually a lot more tolerable to the rest of the smurfs now, he will still occasionally give a lecture or two, but he's trying his best to better himself. Although Brainy was cured of his weresmurf curse a long time ago, he has sadly regained it after a run in with a strange, femme fatale, however, he's learned to control it better, and isn't as aggressive as before, but he will attack anyone who threatens to hurt the people he cares about. He is very protective of Smurfette and Clumsy, and will pretty much do anything to keep them safe. Vexy. Although she's no longer a naughty, she still likes to play pranks on the smurfs, often bringing Hackus, and occasionally Sassette along to help. She is extremely protective of her family, especially Smurfette, in fact when Smurfette and Brainy started dating, Vexy stormed up to Brainy, and threatened to hurt him if he ever hurt Smurfette. She is currently married to Grouchy, and is one of the few things that he doesn't hate. Her bond with Hackus and Smurfette is stronger than ever, however Sassette immediately became a part of that bond, the moment Vexy first met her. Hackus. He's still as happy and goofy as ever, but he now has a bigger family to be happy with. He's become a good friend of Clumsy, and they end up doing a lot of stuff together. He's always there to encourage Smurfette when she practices her magic, and has helped her with some of her best spells. He was very fascinated in Bella when he first met her, as she was the first pixie that he had ever seen, and he immediately became curious about her, luckily she was happy to teach him about pixie culture. Honorable Mentions. Bella loves to work in the kitchen, and often helps Greedy with the baking and cooking, and..She often has to keep him from eating the food before anyone else can. Bella will occasionally take Clumsy for a flight around the forest, he was originally scared of going in the air, but has learned to enjoy it.

Ok.. This question might be a bit personal, but Brainy, how do you feel about Smurfette?

Smurfette is a good friend. She’s enjoyable to be around, and I like her quite a bit. And she doesn’t hit me as much as she used to, so she can actually smurf and change, unlike some of the smurfs in the village.

But, here’s something I will never tell her. She’s not a real smurf. It doesn’t matter what other people say, smurfs are smurfed, not made. Her, Vexy, Hackus, and Sassette aren’t smurfs. They’re homunculi.
