Starting the year with a very belated post! My 2021 Chase Arwen cosplay test shots, featuring some 2025 edits ✨⚔️🐎 . At long last, I finally fully debuted this cosplay in an actual shoot at a Tolkien convention in May 2025, so more Arwen will be coming, and I'm planning another Chase Arwen shoot for this year near home, as I couldn't take my actual sword to the convention ✨ . ✨Riding coat: @ada_lucis 😍💗👌

the only movie-canon that isn't book-canon thing I really support is the whole "Elrond inherited Idril's sword Hadhafang" deal.

with that in mind here is another "if other weapons could talk" conversation. please picture Hadhafang speaking exactly like the grandma from Downton Abbey.

Hadhafang: My dear boy, you've simply got to rest. You'll faint dead away if you keep working so hard.

Elrond: Not now please, Hadhafang, I've got to get this letter to King Thranduil.

Hadhafang: Hmph! You are exactly like your grandmother, young man. I told her the same thing, and did she listen? No, she stayed awake for a week straight and fainted in court.
