Already a little drunk, she needed just a smidgen more. Her birthday getaway had been perfect. It was everything she'd dreamed of-- and nothing she could have imagined either. Sure, she’d been a little distracted. That sort of happened when one found out that their father was in fact... not their father. Nonetheless, Renn had been amazing. The level of hotness and strangely sweetness was completely off the charts. But being back in Luciole only reminded her of just how fast she needed to get out of town. She needed answers, and her dad-- the man that had taught her to first throw a ball. The caring man that had done nothing but care for her. On the contrary, her mother was now dead to her. Sighing, her flight was in just a few hours which left plenty of time to get to Vancouver. Before that, she had to make pit-stop. But now, she just wanted more to drink. With a bottle of tequila in her hand, she round the corner as she drunkenly bumped into said person. “I-I... hey, I was just about to head over to your place.” The fact that she was already fairly intoxicated, and would be driving-- that correlation hadn't been made yet. Everything was a mess. Her whole world had been turned upside down. “I'm heading out on a red-eye tonight... Gotta go back, yep. Thought I'd say bye. And now I have so...” Nonchalantly, she brushed past Renn as though she was just anyone else. { @hadleyrenn }
