Saeran had been staring at the beautiful, pristine whiteness around them, trying to commit the scenery to memory because he knew that before long it would all have melted away. He had been so distracted that he never even noticed what Saeyoung was doing.
The moment that the snowball hit his side, he froze up. After a few moments he slowly turned and stared at his brother.
It was taking a while for his brain to process what had just happened. Saeyoung had just attacked him. Saeyoung ... had betrayed his trust. How dare he ... ? After everything they had been through ...
A cold expression crossed his face, the look of childish glee that had been present only a few moments before completely erased. There was no way Saeran was going to let Saeyoung get away with this betrayal— not this time.
With furious speed, Saeran made his own snowball— being sure to pack the snow together tightly— and threw it with all of his might towards his brother. He didn’t even take a moment to see if it had hit, before he started work on his second projectile.
Saeyoung may have started this war, but Saeran was determined to win.
