🧣 : Is there a fashion style you think your character would be good in, but they'd never wear it IC? For Haes, Eleus and Zay!

Haes would be adorable in sweaters, but he has yet to be convinced that something so informal looks good on him.

Eleus should wear a suit once in a while. He dresses rather slutty most of the time and would really clean up nicely.

Zay would look stunning in a good punk get-up. He’s too clean-cut for it, but he’d look great in more black, some safety pins, and big stompy boots.

Haespheros: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?

Haes suffered a terrible case of chickenpox (or striderpox) as a child. He was absolutely covered in itchy bumps and his parents feared that his pale skin would be marred forever. Luckily, even at seven years old, he had the self-restraint to leave most of the lesions alone and so he didn’t scar up significantly. Of note, though, is one little round scar by the corner of his left eye.

He wasn’t the most robust of children, but he kept up well enough to play and run and gambol about. He was lucky to never develop breathing problems from a bout of pneumonia.

Something that makes your OC cry without fail?

Hm. Since I have waaay too many characters to answer for all of them without slamming up a wall of text, I’m gonna pick just a couple...

Gin makes Vy’thanis cry. It’s his roommate’s liquor of choice, but he doesn’t like the sharp, junipery taste very much himself, and whenever he drinks it, he turns into a weepy, sad drunk. He’ll cry over any number of things while drunk, but it’s the gin that makes him cry. And it’s only gin. He’s tremendously affable with wine.

Speaking of wine, I’ll pick my wino cat-dad Haesphoros for this too. He cries when he hears a particular song common to draenei harp players. It was his lover’s favorite to play and though they parted ways, he still gets teary-eyed and can’t play this piece himself.

Zubeida gets weepy when she sees children playing with each other. She doesn’t remember being a child herself and she hopes that her young self got to play and laugh like that, but the thought of it all makes her sad.

45: What would your character change about themselves?

Well, aside from the obvious answer of being an unclean abomination severed from the Light and forced to endure in undeath... *cough* Hadeon would change his general hermit preferences. He likes to be alone - but he also feels lonely. If he could fix one or the other, he’d be pretty content.

Haesphoros would exchange his scholarly quiet for adventure in a heartbeat - except he’s got nowhere to go and no reason to go there. It’s just him and his star charts and his cats.

17: Does your character have any irrational fears?

Hadeon is tremendously afraid of heights. There’s no early memory or triggering experience for it; he’s simply afraid of falling. About two stories off the ground is okay, but much more than that makes him really unhappy.

Izraid is afraid of being pinned in corners or rooms with one exit. Unlike the jumpy sorts who pick the corner facing the door so their back is to the wall, he gets twitchy about that position and prefers just being near the door.

Haesphoros is afraid of going blind. He had a bad experience with a childhood game of Blindman’s Bluff and a knot tied too tight, and it extended to a generalized fear of losing his sight. He’s also afraid of bees.
