Hagie is rich. The 1% of Hyrule. It's unclear where he was living before, but once Tarrey Town got established, he moved in with his family (wife Ruli and daughter Hunnie).

In Breath of the Wild, he's rich and bored and wants to see us fight some guardians in the wetland below in the side quest Hobbies for the Rich. But not before calling us poor.

However, he'll only give us 20 rupees as the actual payment and call us common for expecting more.

I wonder if he knows of Link's big, fat stack of rupees he accrues from mining. Do you think Link is New Money from all his adventures or Old Money because of his association with the Crown?

He's also having some problems in his family where his daughter is sick and craving Monster Cake. At night, we can be nosy and listen underneath their window.

In Tears of the Kingdom, he is doing more rich people behavior by trying to scam the working class. He's charging to ride the railcar.

This is detrimental to when Mattison needs to ride it for her side quest. There's a few different ways to block his view so Mattison can ride the railcar. My favorite is to throw a puffshroom down.

He's also trying to pawn off a shrine stone.

Luckily, we can haggle the price down, with the help of Ruli.

He's grinding for money quite a bit in this game, in contrast to BotW where he was just lounging about. Did he run out of money? Did Zelda put a harsh tax policy on the rich? Does she still hold any power over the elite? How does the Hyrule economy work anyways?

let me remind you that he bullies a little girl out of her money you can throw eggs by holding r, then pressing up on the d-pad and selecting eggs. I also recommend fire fruit. fuck this guy.
